RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call requirements average 10 days in 6 weeks
• Every third weekend required (included in call shifts)
• Required to float between Johnston Memorial Hospital and Bristol Regional Medical Center
• Floating required to cath lab holding
• 5 years of experience required
• Charge experience required
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Work settings experience required: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Pre-Post Procedure
• Must live 100 miles from the facility
• Required certifications: AHA BLS/ACLS
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Work with adult and geriatric patients
• Daily census of 3 patients
• 3 rooms and 312 beds in facility
• Epic charting system experience required
• 30 hours of orientation with 16 hours nonbillable
• General orientation begins on Mondays with online CBLs
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Drug test must be completed within 12-14 calendar days prior to start
• Fit testing required with facial hair trimmed or removed per CDC guidelines
