Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM schedule with four 10-hour shifts
• On-call requirements as needed
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCIS
• New York state license required in hand to submit
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
• Must live more than 75 miles from facility location
• Floating to other units required
• Complete pre-start modules up to 5 billable hours
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Handle cardiac implant closure devices and cardiac stent placement
• Conduct diagnostic catheterizations for adult patients
• Manage IABP placement and removal procedures
• Interpret dysrhythmias and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
• Perform left and right heart catheterizations
• Execute percutaneous coronary interventions and angioplasty procedures
• Operate rotablader atherectomy equipment
• Scrub procedures while maintaining sterile field and technique
• Set up specialized cardiac equipment and serve as room circulator
• Work with middle adult and older adult patient populations
