RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Weekend requirement may be every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
• Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
• Patient ratios 1:4-5 (must be comfortable with 1:5 ratio)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Floating required to units within clinical skillset
• 48 hours of orientation provided
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Care for adult patients with neurological conditions including neurosurgical recovery, stroke management, and neuro-specific diagnoses
• Manage 5 dedicated beds for continuous 24-hour epilepsy monitoring
• Perform cardiac monitoring and emergency response including dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Provide IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, and central/peripheral line care
• Administer medications and cardiac drips (no titration)
• Provide respiratory support including nasal cannula, oxygen administration, and non-invasive airway management
• Participate in Rapid Response teams and maintain isolation precautions
• Accept first-time travelers and pending licenses from non-compact states
• Call off policy allows facility to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
