RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour shifts with day/night rotation from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM or 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patient ratio of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Floating to other units required
• Must have New York license in hand to submit
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
• Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must be more than 75 miles from facility location
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with medical diseases including hospice, pain control, diabetic, heart, stroke, and telemetry
• Handle designated COVID and flu patients with increased oxygen requirements up to 15 liters and high flow oxygenation
• Manage tracheostomy patients on modified assignments for specialized care
• Skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response/code teams, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, and isolation precautions
• Pre-start modules required (billable up to 5 hours)
• Cannot have more than 10 days of requested time off
