RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 0700-1930 with rotating weekends
• No on-call requirements
• Provide comprehensive patient-family centered care in an 8 bed MST overflow unit
• Maintain 4:1 patient ratios during days, nights, and weekends
• Serve adult patients in a 13-bed unit with daily census of 13
• 2 years of Medical/Surgical Stepdown experience required for submission
• California RN licensure required at time of submission
• BLS (AHA) certification required and must be in hand at time of submittal
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Skills required: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias
• May float to other locations if census is low on home unit
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• Orientation includes modules completed through e-learning (1-5 hours average)
• 50 mile travel requirement from facility
