RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Variable shifts including 3x12s or 4x10s with rotating days off
• Schedule varies each week with no set days guaranteed
• Block schedule cannot be approved - flexibility required
• Call required - averages 3-6 days in a 28-day cycle
• Weekend coverage required - averages every 4th or 5th weekend
• Expect to work some holidays
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Work with 13 operating rooms and daily census of 35-40 patients
• Care for all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Experience needed in General, Ortho, Neuro, Trauma, and ENT procedures
• Pediatric experience preferred
• 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Extensive skills required including bariatric surgery, cardiovascular procedures, robotic surgery, trauma cases, and minimally invasive procedures
• Must be comfortable with latex allergy and malignant hyperthermia protocols
• Drug screen required with multiple panel testing
• All documentation due 3 business days prior to start date
