Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology

Job Details:

• Work 36-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• 2 late stays per week as assigned until cases are complete
• No weekends, holidays, or night shifts required
• No on-call or floating requirements
• 1 year of EP Lab clinical experience required
• Unit accepts first-time travelers with required EP experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES/RCIS
• Preferred certifications: ARRT, Fluoro permit
• Must have experience with Cerner charting system
• Work with Electrophysiology Lab equipment including hemodynamic monitoring and ablations
• EKG experience required for inpatient, outpatient settings, obtaining vitals, and sinus node rhythms
• Required equipment experience: Philips X-Ray machine/Siemens x-ray machine, GE Micropacer
• Preferred equipment experience: 3D mapping systems, various ultrasound machines, laser lead machines
• Perform special procedures including cardiac electrophysiology studies, cardioversion, device implants and extractions
• Average daily caseload of 18 cases
• Work with adult and geriatric patients
• 5 procedure rooms available
• 20 hours of orientation provided
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
