Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shifts with guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Variable weekend coverage required with every other weekend requirement
• Evening, weekend and holiday call coverage required
• 2 years of experience required, first-timers accepted
• Float between Memorial Belleville and Memorial East as needed for coverage
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT
• Experience required in cardiac catheterization, PCI, atherectomy, vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Work in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath labs
• Perform procedures including cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, and percutaneous coronary interventions
• Handle angioplasty, upper and lower extremity angiography, and central venous access procedures
• Responsibilities include accurate monitoring, equipment setup, prep access site, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, and maintaining sterile field
• Work with fluoroscopy equipment and maintain isolation precautions
• EPIC charting system experience preferred
• Scrubs provided by facility with free parking available
