RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in Interventional Radiology department providing specialized nursing care
• Care for patients across multiple age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Weekend coverage required as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required for consideration
• Previous experience required in imaging services, IR, cath lab, or critical care
• 1 year minimum experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab Nursing
• Required certifications: RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS (all must be AHA certified)
• Skills needed include hybrid OR, interventional cardiac cath lab, ERCP, cerebral angiography, carotid angiography, central venous access/port placement, dialysis graft interventional, endovascular interventions, activated clotting time (ACT), embolization, and stent placement
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must be able to handle emergency situations and work with bodily fluids
• Assist with patient positioning and lifting patients weighing over 200 pounds
• Complete orientation modules through e-learning system
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• 7-year work history verification required
