RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 4x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must maintain 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio for Med Surg patients
• Floating to other units required
• Must have New York license in hand prior to submission - no exceptions
• Epic charting experience required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Must live more than 75 miles from facility
• Provide cardiac monitoring and emergency response including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Perform IV therapy and phlebotomy including peripheral line care and management
• Manage respiratory care including nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tanks, and non-invasive airway management
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Scrub color requirement: any combination of navy and white
• Complete pre-start modules (up to 5 billable hours)
