RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Four shifts per week (4x12 schedule)
• 13-week contract length
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must be available to work every other holiday if needed
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Required to float within skillset
• Scrub color: Any combination of navy blue and white
• EPIC charting experience required
• Active New York Single State RN license required (NY is not Compact)
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Candidates within 75 miles of facility not accepted
• 24 hours of orientation
• Up to 5 billable hours for pre-start modules
• Medical/Surgical Telemetry with cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Nasal cannula, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, non-invasive airway management
• IV therapy/phlebotomy with peripheral line care/management
• Isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Care for adult and geriatric patients

This is a 528-bed acute care teaching facility that is Magnet-recognized and certified as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center. The hospital is affiliated with Cleveland Clinic and Roswell Park, offering specialized services through multiple institutes including the Sands-Constellation Heart Institute, Lipson Cancer Institute, and Neuroscience Institute. The facility features a Pediatric & Young Adult Emergency Center, Twig Birthing Center, and advanced surgical programs including vascular, thoracic, and surgical oncology.
