Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work with adult acute care and adult outpatient patient populations
• Patient ratios: 2 during days, 1 during nights and weekends
• 8-hour orientation required
• No floating between units
• No on-call responsibilities
• Work with patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform CT scans including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, sinuses, soft tissue neck, and trauma imaging
• Handle contrast studies including colorectal, heart calcium scoring, coronary angiography, and carotid procedures
• Work in various settings including ICU, emergency department, and outpatient areas
• Use Epic charting system and PACS technology
• Perform venipuncture and start peripheral IVs
• Administer contrast media and follow radiation safety protocols
• Maintain isolation precautions and PPE requirements
• Required certifications: ARRT (R)(CT), BLS, and ACLS
• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience required
• Pennsylvania fingerprints and childline clearances required
• Pass/fail exam required for clearance with maximum 3 attempts
• Must complete required modules during orientation
• Dress code: navy, grey, or black scrubs
