RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour mid shifts from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 3 twelve-hour shifts
• Every 3rd weekend requirement
• Patient ratio of 1:4 across all shifts
• Must be comfortable caring for both pediatric and adult populations
• 1 year of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, and PALS
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Navy scrubs required
• EPIC charting system
• Free parking provided
• Special equipment includes Glucostabilizer and Level 1 infuser
• Care for patients with variety of chief complaints including abdominal pain, chest pain, stroke symptoms, and musculoskeletal injuries
• 25-bed emergency department with daily census of 120-160 patients
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract
• No RTO allowed during first week of assignment
