Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 day shifts Monday through Friday with rotating start times (7:00-15:30, 7:30-16:00, 8:00-16:30, 8:30-17:00)
• 40 hours guaranteed per week with no call requirements
• Handle daily caseload of up to 12 patients across all three nuclear medicine rooms
• 2 years of nuclear medicine experience required
• Must be a registered nuclear medicine technologist with RT(N) or CNMT certification
• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, NMTCB
• Must have ability to work independently and open/close department
• Perform stress tests/studies, hepatobiliary scans, VQ scans, thyroid and parathyroid studies, GI procedures, bone scans, sentinel node procedures, and I-131 therapies (non-therapeutic)
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Experience required with various procedures including bone scans, cardiac stress studies, pulmonary studies, liver/spleen imaging, and gastric emptying studies
• Must be proficient in starting and maintaining IVs
• Dress code requires pewter/gray scrubs
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
