Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
• 2 years of experience required (will consider 1.5 years)
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must obtain South Carolina state license prior to starting if not currently licensed
• Required certifications: ARRT (CT), SCRQSA, ARRT R, BLS
• Epic charting system experience preferred but not required
• Community hospital experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• Must pass cardiac dysrhythmia test and moderate sedation test on first day of orientation with only one chance to pass
• Perform CT exams including perfusion and CTAs in emergency department setting
• Handle abdomen, chest, head, pelvis scans with and without contrast
• Perform biopsies, aspirations, and administer contrast media
• Start peripheral IVs as needed
• Work with adult patients in level one trauma center environment
• Daily census of 125 patients with 5 CT rooms available
• All requested time off must be included in initial submission
• Strict attendance policy: more than two missed shifts per 13-week contract may result in cancellation
• Must live more than 75 miles from facility location
• Compliance documents due 5 business days prior to start date

The facility features multiple CT suites in the emergency department performing complex procedures including perfusion studies and CT angiography. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes Epic electronic health records system. The facility serves a diverse patient population with both emergency and outpatient imaging needs, supported by a full range of interdisciplinary services.
