RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Weekend coverage required
• Expect to work some holidays
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• 24-bed unit with daily census of 24 patients
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Skills include post cardiac angiogram care, post MI care, pre/post cardiac cath, pre/post cardiac surgery, TR band, pre/post hemodialysis management, titrating cardiac drips, CVA care, traumatic brain injury care, ABG interpretation, cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia management, feeding tube care, blood product administration, central line care, PICC line management, IV insertion and maintenance, heparin protocols, PCA management, surgical drains, chest tubes, BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula, tracheostomy care, isolation precautions, and wound care/wound vac
• On-site drug screen required with comprehensive panel testing
• Documentation due 3 business days prior to start date
• Local candidates within 50 miles not accepted
