RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work Friday through Sunday schedule with no call requirements
• Provide surgical support for Neuro/Spine, Ortho/trauma, and General/robotics/trauma procedures
• Craniotomy and burr hole experience required (hard stop requirement)
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 40 hours of orientation required
• 2 years of experience in service line required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, CNOR, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, BLS
• Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System required
• Must be proficient in various surgical procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, mastectomy, spinal fusion, total joint replacement, and trauma cases
• Care for patients across all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Allscripts charting system experience preferred
• Must complete required modules during orientation (6-8 hours average)
• Facility conducts mandatory drug screening upon arrival including marijuana testing
• Must be available to complete lab requirements within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Hard documentation deadline: Thursday 2pm CST prior to start date
