RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM for a 13-week contract
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must be available to work every other holiday if needed
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:7
• Required to float within skillset
• Must have worked in acute care within the past 6 months
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• Active New York Single State RN license required (NY is not Compact)
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
• BLS certification required
• Scrub color: Any combination of navy blue and white
• Must be comfortable with cardiac monitoring and emergency response including dysrhythmia interpretation/management and Rapid Response/Code team activation
• Experience with IV therapy/phlebotomy and peripheral line care/management required
• Knowledge of nasal cannula, oxygen administration/tanks, and non-invasive airway management needed
• Must follow isolation precautions
• Candidates within 75 miles of facility are not accepted
• Pre-start modules required (up to 10 hours total, varies by specialty)
• Call off policy allows up to three shifts during contract period without charges
