RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work five 8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with no weekends or holidays required
• 13-week assignment duration
• Late stay sign-up required for call coverage
• Must be proficient in all OR specialties, particularly orthopedic, breast/plastics, urology, gynecology, and general surgery
• Handle surgical cases including general, gynecology, breast/plastics, urology, orthopedic, podiatry, and eye procedures
• Work in outpatient pavilion with 6 operating rooms and average daily census of 35 patients
• Patient ratio of 1:1 during day shifts
• Float to main OR as needed
• Required certifications: BLS and Virginia license (ACLS and CNOR preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Previous charge experience and travel experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must attend Epic training class (accelerated or 2-day) unless previously at facility within past 6 months
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Up to 7 hours of non-billable modules during orientation
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Must have active Virginia license at time of submission
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1st - March 31st)
• Smoke/nicotine-free facility
