RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work five 8-hour shifts from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• No call responsibilities and no weekend coverage required
• Function as an Interventional Radiology RN with recovery room responsibilities for patients from deep organ biopsies and angio cases
• Operate complex stationary and mobile diagnostic equipment
• Prepare for and assist physicians during diagnostic and invasive procedures
• Educate patients on procedures, medications, contrast media, and associated biological effects
• Complete routine and priority tasks within established departmental timeframes
• California RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 3-5 years of recent relevant experience required
• Recovery experience with deep organ and angio cases highly preferred (PACU experience)
• IR/Cath Lab experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• Two references from within the last year required
• 7-year work history verification required
