RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 36/36 schedule with every other weekend coverage
• No call responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 1:7 for all shifts (days, nights, weekends)
• Float to other units when needed
• Care for adult patients in a 35-bed medical surgical telemetry unit
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• First time travelers accepted
• Must live 100+ miles from the facility
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• 16 hours of non-billable orientation beginning on Sundays with online CBLs
• Expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education
• Required skills include telemetry monitoring, IV management, medication administration, chest tube care, and various medical surgical procedures
• Interdisciplinary support available from physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
