RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work in Cardiovascular Operating Room with 1:1 patient ratios
• Call required after 2:30 PM, weekends, and holidays
• Weekend coverage required with variable weekend shifts per contract based on staffing needs
• Daily census of 10-15 patients with 5 operating rooms and 8 beds
• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations
• One pre-approved time off allowed
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Extensive CVOR skills required including: Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Mitral valve replacement, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Atherectomy, Femoral Cannulation
• Vascular surgery experience including: Aortic Aneurysm repair, Carotid Endarterectomy, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, TEVAR
• General OR skills including: Conscious sedation monitoring, Starting peripheral IVs, Wound management, Universal protocol procedures
• Thoracic surgery experience including: VATS, Thoracotomy, Lobe resection, Mediastinoscopy
• Must complete on-site drug screening with comprehensive panel
• Documentation due 3 business days prior to start date
