RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for 13-week contract
• Patient ratios range from 1:5 to 1:7
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must be available to work every other holiday if needed
• Floating required within skillset
• Must have worked in acute care within the past 6 months
• 1 year of experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Active New York Single State RN license required (NY is not Compact)
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Scrub color: Any combination of navy blue and white
• Clinical skills include cardiac monitoring, emergency response, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• IV therapy and phlebotomy with peripheral line care and management
• Nasal cannula, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management
• Isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Rapid Response/Code team activation experience required
• MS/Tele unit assignment determined at time of offer
• Candidates within 75 miles of facility not accepted
• Pre-start modules required (up to 10 hours total, 5 hours billable)

This is a 528-bed acute care teaching facility that holds Magnet recognition and is certified as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center. The hospital is affiliated with Cleveland Clinic and Roswell Park, offering specialized services through multiple institutes including the Sands-Constellation Heart Institute, Lipson Cancer Institute, and Neuroscience Institute. The facility features advanced programs in vascular, thoracic, and surgical oncology, along with a Pediatric & Young Adult Emergency Center and Twig Birthing Center.
