RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts 7:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 3x12 hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend (EOW) schedule required
• Holiday coverage as needed - work 1 of 2 upcoming holidays and surrounding days
• Patient ratio of 3:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 8 hours of orientation provided
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: NIHSS and BLS (AHA or ARC only)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed per contract
• May be asked to float to rehab as needed
• Care for mixed acuity patients including COPD, pneumonia, trach patients, high flow modalities, end stage renal disease, CHF, stroke overflow, ETOH withdrawal, and GI bleeding
• Manage vented patients with trach, DKA with insulin drips, dialysis patients, sepsis, and pulmonary hypertension patients on Remodulin drips
• Work in tobacco and fragrance-free facility
• Complete 5-6 hours of pre-start modules
• Clean nursing license required with no hits accepted
