RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• On-call and floating expected
• Patient ratio of 1:4 for days, nights, and weekends
• Self-scheduling system
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• NIH certification preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must have experience in cardiac telemetry, ER holding, MS/Tele, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, or telemetry settings
• Manage cardiac drips including Cardizem/Diltiazem, Cardene, Amiodarone, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Heparin, Nitroglycerine, and Milrinone
• Handle insulin drips and care for patients in respiratory distress (excluding ventilator care)
• Perform procedures such as sheath pulls
• Care for adult patients in a 16-bed intermediate care unit
• Dress code requires black scrubs
• Must live more than 75 miles from facility to qualify as traveler
• Two professional references required
