Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• On-call requirements up to 4 call shifts per month (end of shift to 7:00 AM)
• Schedule includes 1 weekend shift (Saturday OR Sunday 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM) per month
• Required to work at least one holiday period (Christmas or New Year's)
• Float within scope to meet facility needs between like units and sister facilities
• 2 years of OR experience strongly preferred
• Scrub experience strongly preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, Radiation Badge (provided by agency)
• South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN license required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Patient ratios of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Serve adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures
• Work with EPIC charting system
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Hurricane season emergency response team assignment may be required (June-November)

This Level I academic trauma center features 21 operating room suites covering all surgical specialties including trauma, transplant, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics. The facility maintains 820 staffed beds and holds Magnet designation, representing excellence in nursing care. The main operating room operates as a busy, dynamic, nurse-driven department with cutting-edge technology. The nursing team consists of 75% registered nurses and 25% certified surgical technologists, providing comprehensive surgical care with interdisciplinary support including interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretaries.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
