RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• On-call availability as needed
• Every other weekend requirement
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience and 1 year travel experience required
• Must have 3+ years of nursing experience
• Specialized in general, orthopedic, vascular, trauma, and neurosurgical procedures
• Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS, ACLS
• Additional preferred certifications include CNOR, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Plans, manages and coordinates professional nursing care for surgical patients
• Scrubs or circulates surgical cases while maintaining AORN standards
• Works collaboratively with health team members and supervises ancillary nursing personnel
• Handles emergency situations and works with bodily fluids
• Must assist with lifting and positioning patients weighing over 200 pounds
• 20-hour orientation period required
• Completion of facility modules during orientation (1-5 hours average)
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• Valid state license required at time of submission
