RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for 13 weeks
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must be available to work every other holiday if needed
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Float within skillset as required
• Scrub color: Any combination of navy blue and white
• 24 hours of orientation
• Must have 1 year of experience minimum
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Active New York Single State RN license required (NY is not compact)
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must be comfortable with MS/Tele, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and use Rapid Response/Code teams
• Provide nasal cannula, oxygen administration, and non-invasive airway management
• Perform IV therapy/phlebotomy with peripheral line care and management
• Maintain isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Care for adult and geriatric patients
• Cannot submit candidates within 75 miles of facility
• Cannot submit candidates with more than 10 days RTO
• Complete pre-start modules (up to 5 billable hours)

This is a 528-bed acute care teaching facility that is Magnet-recognized and certified as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center. The hospital is affiliated with Cleveland Clinic and Roswell Park, offering specialized services through multiple institutes including heart, cancer, neuroscience, pediatric emergency, and birthing centers. The facility provides advanced surgical programs including vascular, thoracic, and surgical oncology, with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams.
