RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• 36 guaranteed hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 shifts
• Weekend coverage as needed
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
• At least 2 years of emergency room experience required (18 months minimum, 2 years preferred)
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, PALS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Epic experience at level 3 or 4 required
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Skills required: Arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, isolation precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, management of dysrhythmias, triage
• EKG and pharmacy tests required during orientation with maximum of 2 attempts each
• Time-sensitive modules must be completed pre-start (average 6-15 hours, non-billable)
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
• Two references from direct supervisor/manager required
• Florida license required with no license hits accepted
