Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour night shifts from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM (Friday-Monday)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• 2 years experience in service line required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• 40 hours of orientation required
• Required certifications: ARRT, ARRT (MR) preferred, Texas Medical Board - MRT, BCLS
• Must have charting system experience with Allscripts
• Altera experience preferred but not required
• Work with all patient age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform various MRI procedures including breast, cardiac, arthrograms, anesthesia, and pacemaker MRI
• Skills required include isolation precautions/PPE, CINE studies, perfusion, management/lead experience
• Perform imaging of abdomen, pelvis, brain, spine, extremities, and other anatomical areas
• Handle preparation and administration of contrast media
• Work with specialized MRI equipment including anesthesia cart and IV pumps MRI compatible
• Complete non-billable modules during orientation averaging 6-8 hours
• Must complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer

This comprehensive healthcare facility operates a 325-bed medical center providing advanced diagnostic imaging services. The facility features a busy MRI department with daily census of 34 patients and offers specialized procedures including MRI breast, cardiac, arthrograms, anesthesia, and pacemaker studies. The organization provides extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
