RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 4x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM (will consider 3x12s)
• 12-week assignment duration
• Patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must float within scope to meet facility needs and between like units/sister facilities
• 3 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Travel experience required - first-timers not accepted
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH
• Telemetry experience preferred with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Must complete all assigned modules prior to start date (approximately 4 hours, non-billable)
• Attendance at staff meetings required
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Epic charting system experience
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with conditions including CHF, COPD, diabetes, post-surgical care, wound care, and various medical diagnoses
• Skills include colostomy/ileostomy management, pre/post hemodialysis management, feeding tube care, and isolation precautions
• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November)

Facility:

This short-term acute care hospital features 97 staffed beds and maintains a daily census of approximately 36 patients. The facility operates a 41-bed Med/Surg unit and provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and social services. The hospital utilizes modern technology and maintains high standards for patient care across various medical and surgical specialties.
