RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 11-week assignment with holiday rotation required
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Every other weekend requirement
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, agency floats first
• Facility can call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• No on-call responsibilities
• 1 year of experience required (preferably 2 years)
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Cardiac and neuro experience required
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Epic charting system
• Free parking available
• Block schedule approval can be requested but not guaranteed
• 60-mile local radius restriction - local travelers not accepted
• Care for adults and geriatrics post open heart surgery patients
• Work with special equipment including chest tubes, IABP, Impella, CRRT, temporary pacers, Swan Ganz, and cardiac output monitors
• Complete non-billable modules averaging 4 hours pre-start
• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
