RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work in Progressive Care Unit focusing on general medical/surgical telemetry with cardiac emphasis
• Care for structural heart patients including post-cardiac catheterization and TAVR procedures
• 50/50 rotating schedule with alternating weeks of days and nights per pay period
• No call requirements
• Adult patient population with 6:1 patient ratio experience required
• 20-bed unit with daily census of 17 patients
• Weekend coverage required
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Must have 1 year of nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• Must be competent in cardiac telemetry, medication administration, IV management, and wound care
• Skills include managing cardiac drips with titration, vasoactive drips, central line care, chest tubes, and specialized cardiac procedures
• Float within hospital when needed
• Valid PA license or compact license required
• Community hospital experience preferred
