Description

RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour rotating shifts, typically 3 weeks of days and 3 weeks of nights
• 16-week assignment with option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
• Trauma ICU position with 1:2 patient ratios
• 2 years of ICU experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Every other weekend required
• May float to all inpatient nursing units within scope
• Guaranteed hours provided
• No on-call requirements
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, TNCC (preferred), BSN preferred
• Must pass Relias EKG exam for interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Parking cost: $15/day or $70/month
• Must have experience with arterial lines, central lines, PICC line management
• ICU experience with trauma patients required
• Level I teaching facility experience preferred
• Perform phlebotomy and complete own EKGs
• Assist with bedside procedures including intubations and line placements
• Care for ventilated patients with ETTs and trachs
• Titrate vasoactive medications and participate in early mobility programs
• Travel to CT scan and MRI with patients
• Participate in medical team rounds
• No more than 7 days RTO per 13-week contract
• Patient population includes neuro, orthopedic, GI/GU, trauma, and GYN surgical patients

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
