RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts with weekend coverage required
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Self-scheduling with orientation of 36 hours
• Patient ratios: MS patients 1:5-6, PCU patients 1:3-4 (acuity based)
• Float required as needed within hospital or to affiliate hospitals
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must have 18 months experience and solid neuro experience
• Experience required with Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lasix, Insulin drips, Post Heart Cath, and Post Pace-maker procedures
• Care for mixed acuity patients including oncology, stroke, cardiac, gastrointestinal and pulmonary conditions
• Manage unstable strokes and BiPap patients
• Work with cardiac drips including titration of insulin, amio and cardizem drips
• Handle post watchman and ablation patients
• Dress code: red top, black bottoms
• Use Cerner charting system
• Free parking provided
• Must have Indiana state, compact, or Indiana temporary license in hand prior to start
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations with daily census of 29-31 patients
