RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work as part of Resource Pool with primary assignment to Cherokee Medical Center, may float to main campus Spartanburg Medical Center as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• 2 years of experience required, will review candidates with 1+ year experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Must pass arrhythmia and medication test on first day of orientation (one chance to pass)
• Telemetry test required upon beginning of placement
• Epic experience preferred but not required
• Must be able to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Work with centralized telemetry monitoring with tech support
• Care for patients with sepsis, dementia, post-op, orthopedic, chest pain, and rule-out strokes
• Work with special equipment including chest tubes and wound vacs
• Float to other units within scope as needed to meet facility needs
• Weekend coverage required as needed
• Either 2 on-call shifts OR 2 additional shifts per 6 weeks required
• Shaving may be required to pass fit test onsite
• Strict attendance policy: more than two missed shifts per 13-week contract may result in contract cancellation
• All requested time off must be included on initial submission
• 75-mile radius restriction for local candidates
