Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shifts with some evening/overnight, weekend and holiday call required
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Variable weekend schedule with every other weekend required
• On-call responsibilities required
• May float between Memorial Belleville/Memorial East as needed for coverage
• Must have 2 years of experience minimum
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT
• Work in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization labs
• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures including PCI, atherectomy, vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Handle cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, and percutaneous coronary interventions
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment (Siemens preferred)
• Maintain sterile field, perform accurate monitoring, equipment setup, and prep access sites
• Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and utilize rapid response team when needed
• Work with PACS and EPIC systems
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
• Scrubs provided by facility
