Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR
Job Details:
• Work 4 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Day shift hours: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Evening shift hours: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM
• Majority of shifts are day shifts with up to two weeks of evening shifts per six-week schedule
• On-call requirement: 6 calls per 6-week schedule
• Weekend and holiday coverage: 1 weekend shift and/or 1 holiday per 6-week schedule
• Must have 2+ years of CVOR experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Level 1 Academic Medical Center experience preferred
• Transplant experience preferred
• Must have DC license in hand at time of submission
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Must provide two supervisor references
• Complete facility-specific modules within one week of signing contract
• Complete labs and drug screen appointment within 48 hours of signing
• Work with patients of all ages: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle all service lines and cases in a 21-room surgical department

This major academic medical center serves as a Level 1 trauma facility providing comprehensive surgical services including cardiovascular, transplant, and robotic surgery programs. The facility features a state-of-the-art surgical department with 21 operating rooms and handles a daily census of 40 patients. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and offers advanced surgical procedures including complex cardiovascular cases, endovascular repairs, and minimally invasive techniques using the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
