RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 13-week assignment duration
• Function as Cath Lab Circulator for RLHC/PCI, Peripheral, and EP procedures
• 2-3 call shifts per week with 2 call weekends in a 6-week period
• Short call during weekdays: 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM as backup (stay to complete cases if still running)
• Short call on weekends: 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM both Saturday and Sunday as backup
• Long call: overnight emergency call 5:30 PM - 7:00 AM (must be on-site within 30 minutes of page)
• Weekend long call: Friday 5:30 PM - Monday 7:00 AM covering both emergent and non-emergent cases
• Must reside within 30 miles/30 minutes of campus for call requirements
• Hospital provides scrubs
• Work with EPIC CUPID Cath charting system
• Experience required as Cath Lab Circulator with RLHC/PCI, Peripheral, and EP circulating experience
• Virginia nursing license must be active and in hand at time of submission
• Must attend either accelerated or 2-day EPIC training class
• Complete up to 7 hours of non-billable modules during orientation
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1st - March 31st)
• COVID-19 vaccination required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Smoke/nicotine free facility
