RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 for Med Surg patients
• Must have 1 year of nursing experience
• New York license required in hand - no exceptions
• Must be located more than 75 miles from facility
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Floating to other units required
• Scrub color: Any combination of navy and white
• Care for acute stroke patients and other neurological disorders as well as acute medical patients
• Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV therapy, phlebotomy, respiratory care including nasal cannula and oxygen administration
• Must be proficient in blood product administration, wound care, isolation precautions, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Pre-start modules required (up to 5 billable hours)
• First-time travelers accepted
