RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour day shifts with 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM start times
• No weekend coverage required
• Patient ratio of 2:1 across all shifts
• Float required to other CPMC campuses if needed and census permits
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must have 2 years of PACU RN experience, preferably in high acute care hospital with ICU experience required
• Cath Lab experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), CA RN License, ACLS, PALS
• Provide individualized nursing care for geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients from admission through discharge
• Utilize knowledge of peri-anesthesia standards of care, airway management, nursing assessment, and pharmacology
• Care for patients ages ranging from infants to geriatrics
• Daily census of 40-50 patients in 32-room unit
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• Complete non-billable modules during orientation averaging 1-5 hours
