RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in Operating Room unit with schedule provided by manager
• 13-week assignment with ASAP start date dependent on EPIC experience and training schedule
• Call requirements: 3-4 call shifts every 6 weeks for 8 hours each
• Must maintain position within 30 miles/30 minutes of campus for on-call responsibilities
• 2 years of Operating Room experience required
• Level II Trauma center experience preferred with trauma, neuro, ortho spine, general surgery, robotics, eyes/ENT
• Must have active Virginia or Compact license in hand at submission
• BLS certification required
• EPIC OP TIME (OR) experience required - must attend either accelerated or 2-day EPIC training class
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1st - March 31st)
• Must complete up to 7 hours of non-billable modules during orientation
• Floating may be required in rotation with client staff according to facility policies
• Smoke/nicotine free facility
• Must wait one year before returning as traveler if previously a staff member
