Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour mid shifts from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM
• Schedule: Either Monday, Thursday, and Friday OR Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
• 36 hours per week available
• 8-week assignment duration
• Weekend requirement: May need to cover 8-hour Saturday or Sunday shift with 2-week notice if regular weekend tech is unavailable
• No call requirement or floating requirement
• Must have minimum 2 years of experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT CT
• Must have Siemens equipment experience
• Work setting skills required: Adult Acute Care, ICU, and Emergency Department
• Skills required: Isolation precautions, management/lead experience, contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, starting peripheral IVs, venipuncture
• Imaging capabilities: Abdomen, pelvis, chest with/without contrast, head, carotid, sinuses, spine studies, musculoskeletal trauma
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Patient age groups: Neonates through geriatrics
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs (not provided)
• 16 hours of unit orientation from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Fatigue policy: Cannot work more than 5 days in a row or 60 hours per week
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed with auto approval
• Must complete 8-10 hours of non-billable modules pre-start

Facility:

This medical center operates a busy outpatient and emergency department CT imaging program, providing comprehensive diagnostic imaging services for a wide range of patient populations. The facility utilizes Siemens CT equipment and Epic electronic health records, maintaining high standards for quality imaging and patient care. The department maintains adequate staffing support to ensure technologists are never working alone and provides thorough orientation and ongoing support.
