RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 36/36 schedule with rotating weekends and holidays
• No call responsibilities required
• Floating required between units
• HYBRID UNIT - must be proficient in both PCU and Med Surg
• PCU patient ratio: 1:5, Med Surg ratio: 1:7
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• 35-bed unit with daily census of 33 patients
• 24-hour orientation required (16 hours non-billable)
• Must have minimum 1 year PCU experience within past 2 years documented on work history
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Accepts first-time travelers with Level 1 trauma experience
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, AHA ACLS
• Must live 100+ miles from facility
• Epic charting system (preferred experience)
• Active participation in nursing student support and clinical education required
• Skills include blood product administration, central line care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy, wound care, and rapid response team utilization
• 24/7 phlebotomy, RRT, and supervisor support available
• Hospital may cancel one shift biweekly without penalty if census decreases
• General orientation begins on Sundays with online CBLs
