RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for 13 weeks
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5 caring for adults and geriatrics
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must be available to work every other holiday if needed
• Required to float within skillset to ICU and/or medical-surgical units
• 16 hours of orientation provided
• Scrub color requirement: any combination of navy blue and white
• EPIC charting experience required
• Active New York Single State RN license required (NY is not compact)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Candidates within 75 miles of facility not accepted
• Provide telemetry and stepdown-level care for long-term pulmonary patients, ENT surgery patients, and surgical procedures requiring stepdown care
• Skills include cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, rapid response/code team utilization, blood product administration, central and peripheral line management, cardiac drip management (no titration), oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, IV therapy/phlebotomy, and isolation precautions
• Call off policy allows up to three shifts to be canceled during 13-week contract without charges
• Must submit RTO/block scheduling requests upon submission
• Pre-start modules required (up to 5 billable hours)
