RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
• Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
• Patient ratio: 1:4-5 (must be comfortable with 1:5 ratio)
• 48 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• EPIC charting experience required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Care for adult patients with neurological conditions including neurosurgical recovery, stroke management, and neuro-specific diagnoses
• Unit includes 5 dedicated beds for continuous 24-hour epilepsy monitoring
• Clinical skills required: cardiac monitoring, emergency response, IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, central/peripheral line care, medication administration, cardiac drips (no titration), respiratory support
• Required to float to units within clinical skillset
• Active Virginia State or Compact RN license required
• Pending licenses accepted only if candidate holds single-state license from non-compact state
