Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour shifts per week from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 5-6 nights of call monthly (call starts at 5:00 PM and ends at 6:30 AM next morning)
• 1 weekend of call monthly (weekend call starts at 5:00 PM Friday through 6:30 AM Monday)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Strong vascular procedure experience required
• Must be proficient in scrubbing and monitoring all scheduled procedures
• Handle procedures including TAVRs, AAA repair, STEMI, defibrillator and pacemaker insertions/removals
• Perform peripheral angiography including lower extremity angiograms to carotid stent placement
• Required to insert/program AICDs (Automatic Implantable Cardiac Defibrillators)
• Work with specialized equipment including McKesson monitoring system, Phillips x-ray, Volcano IVUS and FFR
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Float within facility and may float to affiliate hospital nearby
• Complete 8 hours of virtual modules on first day of contract
• Required certifications: BLS, RCIS or ARRT, and Maryland license
• Additional certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, CCI RCIS
• Work with adult patient population in 5-room facility with daily census of 20 patients
