RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Schedule options include Wednesday-Friday or Tuesday, Thursday, Friday with call and late days as required
• Must start on 5/18
• Patient ratio of 1:1 across all shifts (days, nights, weekends)
• Weekend coverage varies
• One pre-approved time off allowed per contract
• 40 hours of orientation required
• Specializes in Neuro/Spine, Orthopedic/trauma, and General/robotics/trauma procedures
• Craniotomy and burr hole experience required - this is a hard stop requirement
• Must have minimum 2 years of experience in service line
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CNOR, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Travel experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Allscripts charting system experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Must work with patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, geriatrics
• Skills include amputations, spinal fusions, craniotomy, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, joint replacements, and various orthopedic procedures
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
• License in hand required with submittal
• Must complete mandatory drug screen upon arrival (includes marijuana testing)
• Hard document deadline: Thursday 2pm CST prior to start
• Modules completed during orientation (6-8 hours, non-billable)
