RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Every other Saturday/Sunday weekend requirement with holidays as needed
• 2:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• Occasional floating required
• Self-scheduling model
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Care for adult patients in 44-bed ICU with daily census of 40
• Epic charting system experience required
• 2 years of ICU experience required
• Travel experience required
• Must live 50+ miles from facility
• Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS, ACLS
• PALS required within 180 days of hire
• TNCC required within 180 days of hire
• NIHSS required within 90 days of hire
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• 7-year work history verification required
• Only one holiday time off request approved per contract
• Modules completed during orientation (1-5 hours, non-billable)
• Accountable for assessment, coordination, delivery and evaluation of nursing care in acute setting
• Deliver holistic and individualized patient care incorporating psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual factors
