RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 4 shifts per week schedule
• Every other weekend required with 6 weekend shifts per contract
• 2:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• 2 years of ICU experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Float to Med/Surg, Telemetry, and IMC as needed
• Holiday rotation as needed
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• 72 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including multisystem organ failure, respiratory illnesses, renal failure, sepsis, CVA/seizures, STEMI/NSTEMI, and DKA
• Work with specialized equipment including IABP, CRRT, targeted temperature management, Swan Ganz, and temporary pacemakers
• Skills include ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, and titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing
